ABOUT

The District started in 1970.  A group of farmers helped establish the Water District to provide water to area farmers for their livestock as well as residential use and bulk use for the Villages of  Bennet, Panama and Roca.  Over the years, the District has grown to have more than 1,700 customers and is continuing to rise with ongoing development of Lincoln and surrounding areas.

Our office is located at 310 Fir Street, Bennet, Nebraska.  The District is governed by a 7 Member Board of Directors.  Directors are elected by the Membership and run for a 3 year term.  Current Directors are listed below.

ALL REGULARLY SCHEDULED BOARD MEETINGS ARE HELD THE SECOND WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, AT 7:00P.M.  AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE 310 FIR STREET BENNET, NE 68317.

THE ANNUAL MEETING IS HELD THE SECOND WEDNESDAY OF FEBRUARY WITH THE REGULAR MEETING IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING.

Meetings are open to the public, unless otherwise noted.  You are more than welcome to come to any regular or annual scheduled meeting.  If you have concerns or questions and would like to be placed on Agenda to speak at a meeting, you may do so by calling 24 hours  before such meeting at 402-782-3495 and we will gladly place you on the Agenda along with a statement regarding the nature of your concern.
